This is another long entry, can't help it. So I've upgraded to CS3. I began working with it a few weeks ago while in school, and received some demos and instruction as to what to look for when im shooting in relation to my digital processing and such. I can say, right off the bat, a few things strike me: - It runs incredibly well on intel macs - Bridge has been redesigned, for the better - Camera RAW version 4.0 is years and years ahead of the previous version - Any idiot who learns to use photoshop and has a decent enough camera can create photographs on a certain level It's this last realization that I find most striking really. A note: This journal is extremely long winded and very stream-of-conscious, probably unnecessarily so. Reading may bore you before I get my point across; if so, I am sorry. First things first, deviantart; you really need some sort of auto-saving journal, in case your idiot users accidentally close an hours worth of writing. I feel pretty dumb. Where I was going with my aforementioned journal was a bit of a journal of self-discovery and self-evaluation through photography. I had gone pretty deep, drawing parallels between my growing technical knowledge of photography and my constantly refining taste in my own style and the style of others. I
